After a few false starts, my other blog/podcast WideTeams.com is once again cranking away, with new episodes every week!
Here are some of the recent episodes, in case you missed them:
- An interview with Joe Moore of Pivotal Labs, with lots of great info about how to do remote pair-programming effectively.
- An interview with Louis Font about running an internationally distributed startup.
- A conversation with Keith Casey of Blue Parabola, talking about (among other things) the differences between managing dispersed teams on commercial projects vs. leading an Open Source project.
Wide Teams, if you’re not familiar with it, is my podcast dedicated to geographically dispersed teams and remote workers. If you are part of a distributed team, or if you work remotely some of the time, or even if you’re just considering going remote, you should check it out.
And if you like the show, please tell your friends and colleagues! My goal is to build a community around the practice of remote work, and word-of-mouth is my only advertisement. Also, I’m currently queuing up interviews, so if you have some experience and insights into working remotely, or know someone who does, please get in touch!
