After a blessedly quiet June, my conference schedule is filling up again. I’m pleased to announce that I’ll be speaking at the following fine conferences:
- July 29-30: Cascadia Ruby Conf in Seattle, Washington
- August 11-13: Lone Star Ruby Conference in Austin, Texas
- August 26-27: The Ruby Hoedown in Nashville, TN
In addition, I’ll be attending the Ruby DCamp unconference in Virginia (September 16-18), as I have every year since its inception.
I’m really looking forward to getting out and meeting up with more Rubyists this summer! My travel budget is tight as always, however. If you are planning on attending one of these conferences, please consider helping defray my travel expenses by either buying a copy of my book, or donating to my travel fund. Thank you so much, and I look forward to seeing many of you soon!
I am assuming Ruby DCamp is a bring a hammock + rain fly or your camper sort of thing. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Last year there were cabins, and I think it’s at the same place this year.
Okay, cool. I am local and hike in PWFP. I guess a rain fly wouldn’t be the best thing to sleep under with my laptop in tow… but then again the car is right there too. So maybe hammock anyway.
