I don’t usually cross-post content from my other blogs. But since it’s gone a few months without an update, I thought I’d mention here that I finally have some new content up at WideTeams.com. If you’re not familiar with that site, it’s where I talk about geographically dispersed teams and working remotely. What’s new:
- There’s a new interview up with Dan Menard of Macadamian, in which we talk about things like spreading the critical path across multiple time zones and doing distributed code reviews. If you’re a developer working on a distributed team you might want to check it out.
- I’m starting to build a mailing list specifically for WideTeams, and to sweeten the deal I’m offering a pamphlet I wrote that assembles 21 tools & practices for distributed teams, based on my experience and the dozens of interviews I’ve done with remote workers. Get your copy now!
- I’m looking for a sponsor for the Wide Teams podcast so I can pay someone to do the editing and posting and thus get it back onto a more regular schedule. If you or someone you know might be interested, please get in touch!
I have a ton of interviews queued for posting on WideTeams, so stay tuned!
